One of the hardest decisions I ever had to make was whether I will propose to my long-time girlfriend, Jane or not. We had been dating exclusively for two years before I finally had the courage to ask her to move in with me. That necessitated a lot of adjustments on my part. I had been a lonely wolf since I started college and having someone in my apartment with me on a daily basis took some getting used to.

Now that I have become adjusted to living with someone, having someone beside me at night, Janine has started to drop hints about getting married. That scared me even more because I am not one to take such a lifetime commitment lightly. I am sure that I love Janine. I cannot imagine life without her. But I do not know if I am ready to give up my single life yet. And I am not sure if I am ready to start a family.

I talked to a lot of people about it. I even consulted my therapist about it. But therapists never really give you straight answers. They allow you to think things through. So for months I thought of little else except getting married. I am now 32 years old. Janine is 28. I know that as a woman gets older, pregnancy becomes harder for her. And although I was not sure about being ready for it, I knew that I wanted to be a father someday.

The more I thought about it, the more it made sense to me that getting married was the next step for Janine and me. So, I set about the difficult task of preparing for the proposal. All girls want a romantic proposal so I had to plan than. And then there is the thing about an engagement ring. It has to be really special. Janine deserved nothing less. So like most everyone I know, I went online. I found a site called Diamondstoresreview.com, a really helpful website which reviews jewelry stores. The site’s Tappers Jewelry review caught my attention so I checked out the website of the store. What I found on the website I liked so I decided to pay their store a visit.

I visited their store in Troy as that is the nearest to my location. As soon as I walked in, I had a feeling I would have no problem finding the perfect ring for my future bride. The store had a sterling list of designers whose designs are renowned all across the US and Canada. I found the playful colors of Marco Bicego’s jewelry quite amusing. I knew Janine would love that collection but his designs did not match what I had in mind for my purpose. I was also impressed with the collection of David Yurman. I liked the free spirited simplicity of his creations but they did not fit into my image of engagement rings either. In the end, it was a toss-up between a ring from Gregg Ruth’s collection and one from the popular brand “Hearts on Fire.” With the help of their very informative and professional consultant, I finally purchased the ring by Hearts on Fire.

My Mom needs to detoxify her system. She doesn’t feel too good about her health. Not particularly familiar with using the computer, I helped her search the net for some colon cleanse reviews. I told her that as we age, the more we need to cleanse our system. With so many toxins in foods today, the more we need to detoxify our systems. At her age, my Mom really needs it.

Anything I intend to buy, I always check the product out online. This also goes for my computer needs. With the kind of work I do, the computer is my lifeline. I recently bought a new desktop since my old one had seen better days. I looked up several computer reviews before I finally made my choice. Even computer software and computer peripherals are reviewed online. Sure there are magazines on computers I could buy off the shelf, but nothing beats the amount of information with the mere click of the mouse.

It’s been over a year since I got my own website. Word of mouth and an unpleasant  experience with a previous host pointed my to BlueHost. I was adamant at first so I checked out several reviews of the best and most reliable webhosting services available. Bluehost.com is what I expected it to be. I was so stisfied with them that I renewed my subscription covering the next two years. Setting up was so easy and I was guided by their expert technical support through their 24/7 live chat. I am a newbie and their help sure made me an instant expert. My wife’s website was hacked and their live chat walked her through to recovering everything in less than an hour.

They also allow you to host several accounts under your subscription. This allowed me to have several blogs that have specific categories. From personal blog to a sports blog, I have it all. I even have a blog about politics. Bluehost is worth considering when you intend to have your own site. I can personally vouch for their commitment to give you a great internet experience. I wouldn’t be sticking with them for two more years if they have a lousy service. BlueHost is my kind of host.
