I’m a big fan of the late Pope John Paul II. He’ll be beatified and named a new saint. He is one of the most admirable popes the Catholic faith has ever had. Humble and sincere he is a role model to the youth. I hope that other priests emulate him.

I did not expect that my eyesight wouldfail this fast. My glaucoma had gotten the best of me. My right eye is totally gone. My left is holding steady. I have difficulty working and may have to retire soon. I would surely miss the stress. I just hope that I would not be a burden to anyone.

I have not been able to watch the news or even read the dailies. I’m swamped and barely has the time to relax. I take short naps to revitalize my body. I wonder what’s happening around me. I can’t even check the stock market. January is usually the busiest month for me.

I never outgrew The Simpsons. I’ve watched every episode and would drop anything I’m doing when it’s on TV. There’s something about its brand of humor that every bloke can relate too. It may be funny but there are lessons one can pickup from this disfunctional family. It wouldn’t be running this long and wouldn’t be winning awards if it pure crap.

I’ve finally found time for a haircut. My barber joked how I should stop having haircuts as there are fewer strands of hair for him to cut. I’ve always asked him to just shave all my hair off my head. He manages to give me a hairdo that somehow makes me look good. He’s the best barber any balding guy could ever have.

It was a good thing that my brother checked the inned side of his rear tires. What he saw nearly dropped him to the floor. There was huge tear in the sidewall of his rear tire. We hastily went to a nearby tire shop and bought four new tires. An disastrous accident had been avoided.

I think I’m experiencing a burnout. I seemed to have lost my drive in handling bowling tournaments. I think I need to take some time off from the sport. My only problem is that I don’t have anybody to take my place. What a BUMMER!

It’s one of those days when everything doesn’t seem to cooperate. We have two ISP to ensure we’re connected to the net 24/7. One is really fast so my son can play online. The other we use for browsing, I never expected that they would both schedule their maintenance on the same day. We’re still connected but with very low bandwidths. Our connections are crawling and we can hardly get anything done. Sigh!!!
